Essex Outdoors has many years' experience of developing and delivering educational programmes that knit cross-curricular requirements with exciting, engaging and above all, practical learning.
Our teaching staff, all qualified teachers and/or experienced outdoor
instructors, are flexible and adaptable in their approach to learning outdoors and conveying key concepts in imaginitive ways.
Encompassing woodland, grassland, coastal and river habitats, the diverse landscapes of our centres make ideal locations for your environmental and science studies in particular, but can also be a springboard into art and design, history, and design and technology, and incorporate the social elements PE, PSHE, and citizenship.
Each of the centres we use offers well-equipped indoor facilities and excellent opportunities for first-hand practical field studies. Alternatively we may be able to arrange a programme at a site near you.
Our instructors will be happy to discuss your educational needs and aims in order to ensure your pupils gain maximum benefit from their time with Essex Outdoors.
