Discover why a woodland trip
can be a natural choice
Forest School involves regular visits to local areas of woodland, where children can develop a connection with, and appreciation of, their environment. They’ll enjoy complete freedom – to be creative and explore, to flex their imagination and to play, and to learn using natural materials and tools in new and exciting surroundings.
Our commitment to learning outdoors is long-standing – we have played a leading role in the development of Forest Schools within Essex and are active members of the Forest School Association and the Essex Learning Outside the Classroom forum.
Our experienced instructors can also offer environmental education sessions to support your delivery of the national curriculum, either at our centres or in your school setting; our topics are available at EYFS, KS1 & KS2 –get in touch for further information
“Self-esteem was certainly raised amongst most children, others grew in confidence, others realised that they had hidden negotiating skills and others realised that there were ways of moving forwards if things went wrong. A major plus was increased attendance with one pupil who went on to do well academically too.”
