Build your own perfect day on the water

Set sail with our Royal Yachting Association (RYA) accredited instructors on one of our spacious modern sailing boats; perfect for small groups of up to seven people, including children aged seven-years-old and over. Our friendly instructors will show you the ropes, or you can take a seat and enjoy the picture-perfect panoramic estuary views. Our sailing experience is suitable for all abilities. Live out your dreams of life on the ocean waves!

Where can I depart from?

Choose to depart from the Marina at Bradwell Waterside next-door to our outdoor centre, or the Waterfront at West Mersea.

Are there any other activities as part of the day?

Cruise into either West Mersea Waterfront or Maldon Quay and enjoy the stunning scenery of the River Blackwater, before you disembark to explore, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, or moor up and devour a picnic. We can provide crabbing lines and bait, or you may be able to explore secret beaches in the afternoon, tides permitting. You can discuss the options with the Bradwell team on booking or confirmation of booking.

You are in safe hands

A friendly, experienced and qualified instructor will be present onboard to skipper throughout the day ensuring you are in safe hands at all times. We put your safety first and kit you up with waterproofs (if required) and a lifejacket as part of the experience.
