Parents and teachers bringing young people to The Lock

Parents

Parents who are competent in the rope skills required to use an indoor climbing facility can supervise up to 2 novice climbers, this can include children. If children are being supervised by a parent or guardian, there is no minimum age limit at our facility.

If you are the parent of a young child and don’t have the required skills, you can either book onto a Learn To Climb course, or we can supervise them for you. We offer bespoke 1:1 climbing tuition from 5 years upwards. To enquire about Bespoke Tuition please contact us.

Teachers

We offer climbing sessions for students and teachers from 7 years upwards, this can range from a one-off climbing taster through to a full bespoke GCSE climbing programme. These sessions need to be booked through The Lock Office, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
